so am i the only one that has a lot of smoke coming out of the exaust when it gets cold?? is this normal?

 

ummm...what color is the smoke..if it's white you are fine

 

you are natually going to get more smoke when its cold, every car does this

 

yeah its normal, happens to me too.

 

in Montreal this time of the year, every car white smokes. no exception. Smoke thickness increases as temperature gets colder.

 

yea i figured it was a normal thing but its funny cause i could be out driving sometimes no matter how cold it is and im the only car doing it, but then i see another maxima, doing the same thing. i guess the max is just a bit more tempermental to the cold

with the heat on my car produce more smoke but as it warm up it get better

It's not smoke....

It's the water vapor in the hot exhaust condensing as it hits the cold air.
