question about bumper lights socket

My front right bumber light got torn off on the highway. I need to purchase a bulb socket and wire it up. What do I need to look for at the auto store?

Was it the bumper turning signal or the sidemarker? The turning signal is screwed in so I don't think that one got torn off.

Just buy a socket at the store or get one from a junkyard. The one from the junkyard would be easier since the wires are the same. The one from the store might have an extra wire or something (like the one from the bumper light rewire writeup). Either way it shouldn't be that hard

also, the dealership charges you about $30 just for the socket. so don't go there

yes go to the junkyard and try to find some.

its the sidemarker, but neither of them are screwed in. I'm gonna go to NAPA and hopefully pick one up there. I dont have time to mess around with junk yards.

Yea the front sidemarker isn't screwed in (the turning signal is). The bulb and socket are 194 (1156 is for the turning signal).

Sidemarker is definitely 194...it is a blade-type bulb.
