I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but it just happened to me today, and I couldn't find anything while searching. . . Ok, while I was driving, the rear passenger weindow decided to, by itself, try and roll down. Now this wasn't a typical roll down, it sounded like I hit something the motor sounded so bad. Well, it then stayed down and wouldn't roll up, you could pull it up but you couldn't make it stay. The motor would make some bad sounds or something when I pressed down on the button, but wouldn't do anything when I tried to make the window go up. The place I took it to, which ended up being the dealership (I know stupid move). . . well anyway they said something about a regulator that failed and needed to be replaced. Anyone else have an experience like this, or is it rare?

This is a common problem on 3Gen Maximas. Go to Kaleb's FAQ at http://www.kalebonline.com/maxima/tutorials/faq.html
and scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says My Window(s)...

Yeah, I knew it was common on 3rd Gens, but I thought it was fixed on 4ths which is why this bothered me. . . Oh well, i guess I just have to put up with it.
