BEfore I take out the Max this summer I am shedding the last of the rice. No more 4 inch tip straght thru mufflers, going with Dynomax STs instead, and not even fake xenon lights, gonna get some Silverstars, not blue, but not amber like stock. I think then, by the common definition of rice, I will have none.

Im sure there are people out there that will concider my car rice. Its a lowered Maxima with a Maxima.org sticker on the rear small window, DC lenses, Debadged. To me, its a big improvement over stock, but im sure to some its a riced out Maxima that should have been left alone from the factory.

Rice is a very vauge word for car enthusiasts.

I agree it is a vague word. Rice to one is sweet to another. Thats why I say what most consider rice.

in the world of rice im thinking there are several definitions. in general i guess we could all be labeled as rice ( made in japan ) but judging by the exterior only there is rice and non-rice IMO. And thats where I make my judgements which are for fun and laughs.

If the chariot is rice then I doubt you could find enough to make a sushi bite !

I like some rice, but not too much. Dont get me wrong, I'll give props to people who can make a crap car escort look like a dam street machine and run like one too. I dont like the stickers, nor graphics all over the car, or the big huge wings. Just some nice rims, body kit, and a nice paint job. As for my car, yea I guess its sorted of riced out, skyline mod altezzas, shaved, small fart can (4inch radius), and well thats it for now.

I'm gonna have to agree with everybody. I go around driving along side with suped up american muscle cars. They are gonna think that my maxima is total rice due to the fact that it is a sedan and not a sport's car.

Rice is very general in the field of cars. There is a fine line between a nicely tuned supercharged import car that runs 11s and a noisey orange civic that has a 10' wing on the back. IMO is just how you look at cars.

My RiCe i am getting rid of is the whitish blue turning signal lights and trying to get a set of smaller wheels.

****, I got so much rice. Where should I start?

1. Fake CF Altezzas
2. 4 bright blue LED's in the grill (gotta admit, this looks cool)
3. Southwest Autoworks sticker on the front, www.azmaximas.org sticker on the back, along with another www.dndautosound.com sticker on the back.
4. my muffler is hung wrong, and a little crooked.
5. I shaved the back, and put a new "maxima" emblem in the front (not really rice, it looks good)

Thats all I can think of now, but I'm sure there's more.

(let the flaming begin)

If shaving emblems, putting in dc bumper lights and skyline light mod's........a.k.a things to make your car look cleaner. Is rice. I guess just bring on the rice. But I don't think that really counts. Nor does intakes or decent sounding exaust. Only things I think are rice is straight up gweedo chrome teza's and any wing and all l.e.d squirter's, decal's and most body kits.

Civics and their fart cans and stickers are rice to us.

Maximas and our bolt-ons that add 10hp each are rice to the 1000 hp Supras.

And some of the aesthetic mods on the 1000 hp Supras are probably seen as rice to F-body guys...something is always gonna be rice when it comes to imports...

That's the funny thing...my mom is always trying to figure out my logic in declaring something rice...but to tell you the truth, the only thing that's truly ricey about my car is the Nismo liscense plate frame. Only maxima enthusiasts will recognise the difference between regular amber corners vs. clear corners. Everyone else just says "I don't know what it is about your Max, but it looks nicer than the others I see around". I've never gotten flack, including from Pony car boys, Supra, VR4 and 300ZXTT owners, regarding my shaved maxima emblem. One time a 318Ti guy gave me beef about it, but his car is 18X more rice than mine just on principal...LOL...And PIAA Xtreme Whites aren't rice...I have other bulbs to match the look...they don't look faux blue or anything....

how could some of u guys call a wing rice when some of your maxes come with wings on them??? also how could getting clear bemper lights not be rice while getting any other tail lights other than red clears rice??? i like my gen2 rears, call it rice i dont mind. also we get large rims and some get crome, we paint our calipers and we dont call those people rice. we should do what we want to our cars because we like the way it looks not because we r afraid of wat other people like.
just wat i think

NO, NO, NO Liqidvenom....our maximas come with a spoiler NOT a WING.... a wing is those large aluminum and possibly carbon fibre things that stand 3 feet off the trunk and serve NO PURPOSE whatsoever...

and of COURSE I have RICE!!! OBX TYPE-H baby! 4.5'' tip! I shoot cantaloupes at people behind me from it!

If my digi cam was working mang, I'd hit you with some pics...the tip is a little large, but for stainless steel, and the sound it produces for such a cheap price...WORTH IT!

You know the Maxima from the fast and the furious would be considered rice to most and almost everyone. But the thing about it is that, that is probably the best looking Maxima I have ever seen. I still can't exactly find one that can match that one. I guess that just might be my opinion and style but when people saw that car most of them fell in love with it. And also, I don't think to many people, especially a Maxima owner, have anything bad to say about it being in the movie and being one of the main cars up with the likes of an R-33 Skyline, Supra and RX-7. In the import scene those are the major players, and the Maxima was one of them. With them making it one of the top cars in the movie that means that our car is constantly heavily overlooked. For them to consider our car to be that good and to have that much potential to be with the likes of those other cars I mean, come on, they could have put some stupid hackback as the 5th car or something, you know.

I had LED window washer lights on my 3rd Gen, that's probably the last piece of rice I'll be using. Are 2 12" MTX Subwoofers with an El2100 Bazooka amp considered rice?

Haha... If you want your turbo to sound loud when you get one, do what I did and take your catalytic convertor off of your car... completely... dont replace it with a straight pipe, just take it off and let the exhaust dump out of your car from right underneath you... you can hear the turbo spooling from all rpms, even from 1500...

IMO, silver is the only color that looks decent on rosewood, black wouldn't give it enough contrast and make it too dark while white would just be too simple. and other colors like yellow, orange, etc... would only make it look even MORE riceier. silver also goes well with the factory SE rims and the silver outline of my CF altezzas. I'd put up a pic or two, but i dont have a camera; imo it sounds a lot worse than it looks. Oh well, everyone is entitled to their own opinon.

Got some more rice for you:
Bomz rev. indiglo gauges (perfectly match the color of the clock, climate control and bose receiver)
