Checking Nissan Battery Water Level: How much ?

Hey, I belive my battery is just about dead. I went out and checked the water level in the battery and it seems to be about half way down.

How for up is the water supposed to be ? Dont know if I should add more water or not ?

If its low on water will this help ?

get one of those battery checker things. I forgot what they are called. they use the density to move a needle, it will tell you the condition of the battery.

On the 95 max, I think the battery was sealed, meaning you couldn't add water. If it is the same with your 97, your battery is shot and you should just get a new one.

I am pretty sure it's a sealed battery, just get a new one. It's a good excuse to get a lightweight battery or maybe an Optima.

Ceasar, I think you're suppose to fill it just to the rim of the inside.
