yesterday I noticed little pieces of blue glass all over the inside of my head light..

i open the hoot, unscrew the seal, unclip the light and pull out a nice shattered bulb,

how in the hell did this happen? i dont know, but i looked closer, the plastic tab that holds the the light in was broken off, so now I need to buy a whole new one..

what are these called?

is it the wiring harness? another question, how the hell can i get all those tiny pieces of glass out of the headlight assembly?

this makes me so mad, i just bought those bulbs @ xmas,, at least they arent HID
