Suspension troubles. Long post.

I know suspension threads are everywhere, and there is alot of information but I'm having a tough time on what I want to go with. I've read the spring descriptions on http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php but they really don't help me that much. I've pretty much narrowed it down to two sets of springs. The thing is, I'm not sure if I want to go with the stillen kit or not. Right now I don't have nearly enough money to get it (just a high school kid), but I may get it in the future. I'm wondering if I should get the Eibach springs or the Tien-S springs. I want my suspension to be really tight, I want really nice handling. I'm not too worried about softness. I'll live with the rough ride, but I want really good handling. I've heard that the Tien-S have a really even drop, and even guarentee about sagging. Not sure about the Eibach, but they're a really well known company. If you guys have any other suggestions, please let me know. I'm not looking for a really good handling spring, that will drop even. I'm scared if I go with the Tien and I end up getting the kit, I will scrape. But I guess I can deal with that when the time comes, and just buy different springs if I have a problem. I know I'm going to go with KYB AGXs so that's not an issue. Please let me know what you think. Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for helping me out. Thanks, Steve

Sup, As a high school student myself I know what you mean about wanting to do something in the future but not having the "moo-lah." I just did my suspension and i can tell you that if you want a kit, Eibach will be great. It is one of the best performing springs that are made for ythe 4th gen, but it wont give you the "ultra-slammed" look. But it will give you a nice drop of 1.5"-front, 1.3"-rear. Buy some adjustible shocks and your all set. Hope this helps some.

Tein S Tech are too low, IMO. Get Tein H Tech. They are 1.6/1.2.

If I wanted to only drop it 1.6, I would get the Eibach, but I like the fact that the Tien S are really low, which will make my car stand out much more. But will also make driving around a lot more risky.

very true. I guees you can go low if you want. you just have to be extrra careful on speedbumps, and watch out for potholes or other large bumps in the road. whenever you do let us know. I myself would like to see some pics.
