One day runner head light is brighter than other?

One day runner head light is brighter than other?
My left day running head light (When I turn on the car and dont turn on the lights) is brighter than my right one........... but when I turn on the headlights they seem to be just as bright. Nothing major...... just looks like crap. Thx for any help......
