Looking to fill my mounts with urethane. Called a local supplier, and they said the carry "FlexthaneŽ 80 Polyurethane Compound" at $34 per pound. I know McMaster carries it at $24, but they you have to add on shipping. Do you think its worth it spending the $34 there. Are the results worth it?

 

i'm also looking into doing this. the reason i am is because my motor mounts suck a$$ and move like there is no tomarrow...

does any company sell poly mounts for our cars?

 

how do you do this? i have heard this before but dont know how to do it or what i specifically need. im sure the result would be worth $34 especially if they would be the same as true urethane mounts.

 

it sounds like the same thing, just make sure it is a 2 part liquid. It is actually urethane and not polyurethane. and yes it is worth it 100 times over.

 

i want to buy new polyurethane mounts...does anyone make them for our car?
