Ebay carbon fiber hood any good?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=36475

Are these any good, or are they bad quality and fitment. I have seen some where the hood sticks up above the fenders and what not.

btw, i finally got my max back after 2 months, waiting for parts because my differentials bearings went. It rides so nice, I forget how good it was to have a good tranny, so i celebrated topping her out

thanks.

Just go with a company that you can trust...they don't even show it on a max...know what I mean? But I guess it is up to you. Not trying to tell you not to get it, but go with your instincts

Yeah, did you read that guys feedback? Ha...fitment issues...the color of the hood faded or started to look like crap..some guy even got the wrong hood....usually i dont buy from people unless they have 98.5 or higher positive feedback rating

yeah, what everyone else said, plus they make no mention of factory hood latches which you positively need if you don't need hoodpins, secondly, post people say put hoodpins on a cf hood as you don't want it to fly off when you're doing 70+ down the highway ..

Secondly - all the $1000 imported CF hoods from Japan are made of top quality materials .....seems to me like this dude is either a) selling stolen goods, b) selling at a complete and utter loss, c) is selling sub-standard products and talking smack.... i'm going with c.

Personally I'm totally hesitant to install serious car parts on my car from an eBay seller unless it's an OEM part or I know the company ie. warpspeed performance .There are heaps of companies selling on ebay that are selling sub-standard parts and peoples cars are getting majorly frigged.

You can't really trust ebay and the automotive section. My friend got some head lights and seatbelt pads for his WRX, they were crap.

ya be carefull, ebay has some good stuff and my friend bought a CF hood for his acura and its perfect. But This guy really doesn't look like a good seller. he ahs no pic and just shows a 350z and a matrix. I have had my expeiances with ebay so now im like Phatmax98 and only buy if the guy has 98% or better feedback.
