stock dustboots on aftermarket struts?

stock dustboots on aftermarket struts?
just wondering if you can reuse the stock dustboots (if in good condition) with aftermarket struts. what modifications if any would i have to make? thx...

You can reuse you stock boots, just cut the bumpstops a little for more suspension travel room

yeah i already cut the bumpstops when i put my sprints on but now one of my struts are blown so i'm gonna change out the stock struts for agx's. but thx for the info.
