Yes, it does.
on my 99, i have a ambient temp button, and i have been wondering since i got the car if it can read negitive tempatures. well, i hust got back from driving around, and i pressed the button, and it read: -2. it's cool that it goes dwon into the negitives, but it sucks that it is this freaking cold outside!
well, just an FYI.

Some types of systems like this have programmed limits. For instance, many thermocouple readout displays won't display a temperature above 1350C degrees. The reason for this is that the thermocouple itself isn't designed to be taken to temperatures higher than that. There are other reasons for this kind of thing, but that was just an example.

i would think that they would set the limits in a resonable outdoor temperature range... somewhere between 150 and -60 ... (random guess). i don't see why anyone would expect it not to go down into the negative range...

up here in Maine, the wind chill factor was -45. you couldn't even get out to get your paper in the morning w/o having your nostrils freeze up....no joke. I LOVE IT!

In very cold weather it is better breathing through the nose. Cold air will warm up a little through the nose before it reaches the lungs.
