I've noticed that the filter that comes with the CAI is smaller than the filter that comes with a POP charger. I've got a CAI (Place Racing) that I'm about to install and was wondering if using a bigger filter (Like the POP chargers JWT etc) in the CAI would be a big benefit. Anybody done that??

Umm

It think because it is bigger that is why you don't use it....
can you squeeze the big guy in there?
That thing is huge right? (JWT and Stillen POP)
just my thought.

Adding to the CAI

You're right. Not too much room under the inner fender I gather. Oh well, at least tthe air will be cold, and my engine will breathe it ;-)

yeah the filter is smaller due to space restrictions....there really wouldn't be too much of an advantage of having the larger filter anyway...
