I just picked up a steering wheel from a '97 SE that is thicker and perferated...more sporty. I like this wheel better than my existing. Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to swap these wheels?

I just had a new wheel installed, although I got an identical '95-GXE wheel to replace the one I had which was worn out and discolored at the top from the direct sunlight.

As long as the mechanicals are the same for the attachment, it should fit fine.
I don't know how the specs differ from year to year.

My Nissan dealer charged a half-hour of labor for the install. I didn't want to mess with the airbag system on my own.

 

I saw a 2k Maxima steering wheel on e-Bay but the airbag (center) part is missing. I searched for more steering wheels and it seems like all the Maxima steering wheels I found on e-Bay has missing airbag pieces. Does anyone have any idea how much it is for that part?
