Valve train ?

Say gang, are the 4th and 5th gen engines interference designs or non? I'm trying to figure out if I should wait for a timing chain change or be proactive?
Thanks!

Yes, the engine is the interference type. But the timing chain is designed to last the life of the engine. Whatever that means. At any rate, you really shouldn't have to replace it ever if you take care of your engine.
