96 SE Auto Transmission slipping

Second gear is slipping when accelerate hard. Does not matter if I am in "D" or manually shift into 2nd. All other gears work fine. Car returns a code of P0734 (TCC Problem) according to local shop. Manual says this is a 3rd to 4th gear problem but the Overdrive seems to work fine.

Question: Is there anything that could be causing the problem that I can check or do I need a new transmission? The fluid doesn't appear to be burnt or have any contaminants.

Any thoughts on the matter would be approciated.

My 95' slips from 2nd to 3rd too. The tach only jumps a few hundered RPM. Shops say its probably a rubber seal thats causing a small pressure loss.

Anyone know where I can get a auto trans exploded assembly diagram?
