Whatcha think about my new turn signals?

Decided to do something different and make all ambers on the sides and all clears in the front. Should look better with my HIDs if I ever get them. Anyway, here's some pictures and tell me what ya think:

That really looks terrible. Looks really cheap and ricey. The HIDs will make it look like a total POS. You're not the first one to have these either.

Just put amber bulbs in the clear DC sidemarker lenses, or take the bulbs out all together, no cop will ever notice since most cars don't have half as many lights up front as the 4th gen maxima. I took the bulbs out because I prefer it over anything else next to my HIDs.

Your headlights, corner lights, foglights, and turning signals are all clear so the orange sidemarkers don't "go with the flow"

I used to have that...

It doesn't look as bad as you guys think...at least on black it didnt. Another Max at my school copied me and put amber on the corners too. Looks kinda JDMish (altho there is no Maxima in Japan)

i just put in amber bulbs for the sides (instead of putting the stock lense back in).
put the clears back on and put in amber bulbs for that piece.

It doesn't even light up amber...looks ugly. Just take that corner bulb out altogether if you're gonna use all clear.

I was talking about the lense that he replaced with the stock one.
I don't have any bulbs running for the corner lights.
All i have is a set of Hyper white headlights, stock fogs, and the orange bulb that came with the set of clear bumper lense for the front sidemarks.

HOLY ****! Never thought I'd be gettin this much flak. Truth be told, I went to a salvage yard (you pull it) looking for an instrument cluster for my GF's 97 Sentra and low and behold there's a set of DC signals! I looked feverishly around for the back pieces but to no avail. They cost me $8 plus tax for the pair. Not too bad for DC's I thought... but I didn't have the rear parts. Anyone have any ideas where to locate them? Buying a brand new "set" would defeat the entire purpose of buying these for $8 in the first place...

+2 from me and my girl. that **** is ugly. just cause you got it for $8 doesn't mean you should do it. would you put an $8 spoiler that was purple on your car? well it looks THAT BAD. whoever said it looks JDM, does that stand for Junkyard Domestic Market?

Put your stock Oranges back on for now, and then when you get the back pieces, slap the DCs back on there.

those are not good looking on the maxima. But at least you won't get pulled over for not having amber reflectors on the side of your car.

I found a local car boutique in the city that sells a complete set (4 pieces) for $38 but I don't think they are DC style, maybe I should find out. Anyhow, buy a new set and sell the ones you found at the yard for $10 on e-Bay. I'm pretty sure someone will buy them from you, perhaps someone that's been in a front end collision and need just a piece replaced...who knows!

I used to be forced to do that way back in the day and adopted the name Waramp Max from Blaxxima and others. It doesn't look that bad as long as you look at the car directly from the front and can't see any piece of the amber, but once you see the amber, it's all gay from there on.
