yes it will look very weird, however many still do it, it will look even worse if you are not lowered. just save up and buy the whole kit at the same time i suggest you get the ionic dynamics sides and rear valence it is the best kit for the price and quality, big ups jose

It looks weird on 97-99 because it's thicker and hangs down more than the 95-96.

I don't think it would be too wierd. Dave B, ohannon7 and many other .org members have just the front lip. I think it would be okay to have it like that. Of course, you will need to get lowered after a period of time.

EXACTLY... I THINK IF YOU USE THE STILLEN LIP ITS NOT TO GORKY
ACTUALLY COMPLIMENTS THE CAR UNTIL YOU CAN ADD THE REST OF THE PIECES...I HAVE A FRIEND WITH JUST THE LIP AND IT LOOKS NICE..
AND I HAVE THE WHOLE KIT AND CAN STILL SAY IT STILL LOOKS NICE...

In my opinion, It looks "weird" If you look at it from the front, then it looks GREAT, but if you look at it from the side, it looks really "uneven". The 97+ lips look even "weirder", being lower and wider... I would suggest... save up for the whole kit, then put it on all at once, unless you don't mind that "incomplete" look.

i think i'm gonna do the opposite, i don't know how much i like the front lip, so i think i'm gonna get all the pieces at the same time (to save money) but maybe not put on the front lip. cause i think if your gonna be missing pieces, i personally think the front is the one to be missing.

It will look ok, but it will make you want to finish off the kit. I had just the lip on for a couple of months, then I took it of b/c I felt the rest was missing and I wanted to do it right. So I ordered the rest and it will be here shortley, meanwhile people I work w/ say my car looked much better w/ the lip on.....

Ok.. here's another question... How about the ionic carbon fiber lip by itself. I wouldn't do a regular painted stillen lip by itself, but I'm strongly considering getting the carbon fiber lip and leaving the rest of the kit off, because of the fact that it might look odd unless I painted everything, instead of just the sides and rear. And IMO its somewhat of a waste to get a CF piece and then paint it. (except maybe the trunk lid, if you want to have a spoiler as well).

Mine should be in by next week. i will install it and take pics and let you decide if it looks weird or not. Im debating on wether to just leave the lip by itself or get the whole kit later.
I kinda like the thought of just the CF lip, kinda JDM but depending on how it looks installed will be the deciding factor.

Do you have a 97+ front bumper? cause I thought it's only made for those. . . Anyways, I think it'll actually look better with just the lip in your case, unless they come out with the full CF kit that is.

it will look fine. i'd buy a suspension before i ever messed around with bodykits though...you can do a suspension up cheap too, if you use springs.

u did a 97 conversion but still kept the 95-96 lights right..still looks pretty clean.. im gonna have to mix the 97 headlights with the 95-96 corner for a while til i can buy the corner/clearance lenses.
