It pays to know things.. They charge you by the hour for bodywork but a good bodyman can do it in 10mins not 1hr.

A rip off is when you are being presented with a $200 bill for oil change and x points maintenance inspection that will include only an air filter as additionnal parts. Or a $150 labor charge for a knock sensor change. I would not call a $20 charge a ripoff in your case. To raise a car on a expensive lift alone is worth $10 to me.

So what's cheaper? Buy a heat gun and act like you know what you're doing for 2 hours or just pay the guy $20 and be done with it? If $20 is such a concern, why didn't you 1) ask how much it was gonna cost and 2) shop around?

for $20 you could buy yourself one that's not too too bad though so don't worry. your exhaust looks better now right? so no worries.

i did ask around, they said $5-10 at most. my friend recommended me the shop. so i went, acceptable customer service. but $20 was just a little bit out of my price range.

oh well whatever, i already paid, i'm satisfy with the alignment of the muffler, and i apologize for ranting to the orgers about it. just sharing my personal experience. alrite you may lock the thread now jeffy...
