Progress/eibachs

i was wondering if anyone has pics of either progress/eibachs springs on 17's. i heard that eibach is the best handling springs next to coilovers but what about progress do they handle similar to eibachs. thanx

A lot of people I hear about like the handling of their Progress springs. Most aftermarket springs combined with good shocks will handle very well. It's usually the shocks that make the biggest difference. Keep that in mind when choosing a suspension.

Low drop spring such as *caugh* sprint *caugh* don't handle well, they are all show and no go. You need suspension travel to make your car handle. A drop of 2" leave the Maxima with little to no suspesnion travel. It may handle well on smooth roads, but hit bumps and your thrown all over the road.

That is a fact!

I love my Progress/AGX combo. Handles very well and rides very smooth IMO. I never get complaints from anyone riding in the car about the ride, and also I think it looks good. I gotta get some new pics up but you can take alook at my old ones.

eibachs ar the best bebcause the drop is modest. 1.4 i believe.. leaving you with suspension travel.. plus they have a very good spring rate so that you dont bottom out often and keeps the car flat most of the time. i hear they are the best autoXing spring.

i have maxspeed. handling is improved over stock.. good enough for street and daily driving.. but i would never autoX this setup.

I am overall satisfied with my progress/AGX setup. The drop is very nice as is the handling....barely any body roll on corners. If I had to change anything it would be the AGX since I have them on the lowest setting to get a fairly comfortable ride. I heard that the tokico struts and shocks give a softer ride.
