Car Just Got Broken Into!!!! Need Help!!!!!

Ok its around 5 A.M. in Houston right now, but my car got broken into at my friends apartment at around 2 A.M. so the ghetto security says. Well someone tried to pry open my door handle and failed to do that but f*ck up my driver side door and now it won't even open. After he failed to pry open the door handle he then threw a big 10 inch stone through my window. Then he ran around to my passenger side door since the driver side door wouldn't open. This guy was stupid. The only thing he took was my Passport 8500 but he was mainly going for my Indash DVD. He failed to rip out my dash so he ripped off my headunit and I found it around the corner. So the only thing he took was my 8500. Also he didn't even touch the 7 inch indash screen that I got from the groupdeal.

Main thing i need help with is, i need to open my driver door so i can change the window. The inside lock seems to be jammed in lock position and the cable for the outside door hande seems to be broken. So now when i try to unlock my doors it just locks again right away. So i have to roll down my windows and unlock my door manually. Can anyone help me out. I dont want to have to cut off my door panel. =(

But yeah i'm going out on a stake out for the next week and put a radar detector in my friends car and he going to leave his headunit on. And park across the street with my AR-15. Cop that i reported too said i can shoot him legaly if i catch him again. Hopefully i find his ***, i'm going to shoot each leg, shoot his nuts off, and each arm. And while he is parilized I am going to shoot him some more so he doesn't die just looses his arms and legs. Then rob his ***.

Yep, in Tx you can defend your property with deadly force.

You could always weld you doors closed and climb in through the windows, Dukes of Hazzard style.

yeah thats what i love about texas, there are ways you can actually shoot and kill someone legaly. There is something called theft at night, and part of that allows you to shoot someone if they are tampering with your property.

i tried but no finger prints.

I got 2 30 round clips though and a ACOG scope if ya don't know what that is its the scope they use in SWAT.

Actually my face plate he took off and threw under my seat then he pried another part of my headunit off and thats the part that i found around the corner. I found it around the corner because he opened my hand rest and stole my empty armani glasses case along with 3 condoms and a SIM card. And he left a trail. With the condoms and SIM card. Also I had my DVD's in the back seat and Cologne in the Glove. And $800 Muchi stick in my trunk, what a bad criminal.

Not sure what you mean by "So i have to roll down my windows and unlock my door manually" Are you getting the door to unlock but not open? Assuming you can't open the door, you could probably remove the upholstery from the inside. You may have to remove the seat to get to the 2 screws on the bottom...not sure if a short screw driver would fit without removing the seat. Once you get out the upholstery you would have to inspect the damage from the inside to see what's causing the problem with the lock. I most believe it would just be a bent arm. I think there are 2 arms from the inner door handle to the locking mechanism...one for the locking and one to open the door. I hope that was of some help.

Bwahaha...wow this guy is a real winner...

Why the heck was he taking the headunit apart?? Looking for the secret gold that you hide inside it? Hopefully it still works when you put it back together!

Guy's Guy's all this violence. Why don't you invest in the Clifford alarm system that has about 50 different alarm sound's and proximity sensor. Also akill switch that what I got the first time after they stole my clear turn signal light's. Then I got a sniper rile! Just kidding!!??

Ok guys back for the follow up.

Yes I have invested in a alarm that was my first thing before my system. I got the 790xv responder, but u can't respond when ur 10 miles away eating. Alarm had to at least go off twice also opening the door should have made the factory horn alarm go off. But in the Ghetto Houston area thats a normal noise and they don't care.

Also later that morning they broke into my friends girlfriends' car. Tried to steal the headunit but couldn't take out the dash so they stole the face plate.

Today me and my dad were able to fix the car, took us about a hour to open the door, we had to pry open the top where u can look into the door and use a long hook to unlock the latch. After that bought a aftermarket $75 window brand new and installed that, had to buy another door handle $50. Nissan tried to charge me $600 total for all the work cost me $125 so happy.

As for the radio my dad sum how put it all back together and put all the wires back together but now its taped to the dash so it doesn't fall off, At least the radio works, as for DVD i still have my PS2 which dumbass didn't steal either.

As for guns, im not 21 yet, only 19. All the handguns I own my Dad purchased for me or I have gotten some other way. So i can't really shoot him with my hand guns. AR-15, AK, and Shotty are the only things on paper so those are the only things i can legally use.

As for my friend with his prelude with a 790xv he is on papers so he not allowed to use a gun, But he is going to get a bat and hold the guy hostage and beat him up a little bit if he catches him with his car. Then call me and tell me to come over with my guns, then tell him to go back to the parking lot and then shoot him and maybe scratch up the door handle as if he were trying to break in, and put a brick next to him. So when the cops get there it will be all legal.

As for crazy gun stories in Texas, my friend works for the fire deparment. And they responded shooting in a apartment. When they got there the guy had his shotgun at the door and said, "there is some guy in my house and he tried to rob me so I shot him and I want to make sure he dies." After the cops were able to get in, the guys brains were blown out, but the guy whose house it was that shot the guy got away with the whole thing. Cause they also think it was some guy he didn't like and told him to come over and while in the house he shot him. In court he said he was defending his property, and since the guy thats dead was on his property and no one else was around he got away with it.

So the moral is In Texas if you don't like someone, somehow get them in your house, then u shoot and kill them. Cause most likely you will be able to get away with it.

Be careful guy, forensics can reveal the truth (if you end up killing him). Shooting him at ground level, 5 feet away, is way different from shooting him from your apartment window. Anyhow, noone is gonna shoot anyone here unless an assailant has the intent to cause fatal harm to an individual. It's not worth getting locked up in jail for some stupid, moronic, wanna-be crook and for a busted window, door handle, and a DVD player. Pointing a gun at someone, even when the person poses as a real threat, can incriminate you infront of a jury. Beating him up to a bloody pulp doesn't justify it either. Now if you catch him in the act of breaking in your car again, and you step outside to stop him, and he tries to attack you with the intent to cause fatal harm, then you can use self defense for shooting him. But even then, that's still fishy. Go to www.packing.org and read up on State CCW Information. Although you don't have a conceiled weapon's permit, the info in there will still apply to you if you have a registered firearm. Remember, carrying a firearm w/o a CCW is a felony. Self-defense during a home invasion might not be but still the law can be double-sided in many ways. Just make sure you know what you are doing because revenge is usually carried out carelessly w/o careful consideration of consequences until its too late.

Well, I know where your coming from and if i did what i said I am going to do in Kali then yeah for sure cause, they have the strictist gun laws in the whole US. 10 round clips is the most u can carry over there legally. Texas is a whole different story, even if he is not attacking you or causing fatal harm. If it is your property such as House or Car and in the middle of the night then yeah you are actually allowed to shoot. Most of the law is lineint because its at night. During the day yeah you wouldn't get away with this.

I do plan on doing the stake out though, and if i do see him again messing with any of our cars, then yes i will shoot not to the point of death but to paralization and pain. The Officer I talked to that day already said it would be Ok if it happend again.

Situations have many sides to it, besides, what goes on in a courtroom hearing stays in there so you probably don't have all the details of the story. Situations such as those can differ from your's thus eventhough that guy got away with murder in self-defense doesn't mean you're going to get away with it either. You have motive and in a court hearing, that motive can be revealled by what witnesses say, including PD and FD. So just be very careful man!

The scenarios I told you about are based out of Nevada CCW laws. I used to live there and I used to do P.I. work there. BTW, you CAN NOT carry any firearms in the streets of Cali, CCW's are not issued to civilians. Civilians who disregard the law and still carry them (like thugs and such) can face felony charges. I keep my Kimber at home in a gun safe. My mom and sister hates guns. But I do carry a telescopic baton in my car just for self defense....don't tell anyone.

Man, your country is pritty f***ked up if you can go around shooting people. Anywhere in Australia you try and pull that, you'll be thrown in jail for assult or murder if you kill the guy. Essentially ordinary citizens are able to issue death sentances to thieves. Doesn't it seem weird to any of you? Judges spend years gaining experiance to make these decisions and and jurys are made to spend quite some time thinking and weighing up the issue, yet in a split second someone can say "yep, this man deserves to die" and shoot him... I don't believe that Australia is perfect but I can walk around any street without fear of being shot. Stabbed maybe but not shot.
