Good luck with the car, Don't be too surprised if you run into problems.

Seeing this just makes me sad. It's like this car has been abused, and I don't mean the way it's been driven. It's almost like the kid in kindergarten that was forced to wear old hippy clothes or super tight Izod clothes... everyone laughed at him, and he ws really sad deep down inside. This Maxima has been abused. Unpainted Fish-Gill fenders... uggh. Scrathes, accidents, no floor mats, a shifter that's 3 feet long. It just got an Exedy Stage 1 clutch (whatever the hell that is). Seeing these cars just makes me sad...

So you finally got a 4th gen but it has a accord engine in it. how sad. j/k best of luck with your car. I go to get mine this friday. We are going to have a regular maxima club in Baton Rouge. It is nice that you paint cars on the side. Did you plan on the z3 fenders? Did you even notice them?

Having a stock auto for 6 months will do that to you. Why do I need to know about clutches and flywheels and short throw shifters for when I'm rolling in an automagic?

That car looks like it has seen better days. Good luck with that, man!

I bought my Maxima off of Ebay, but I called the guy and talked to him for a long time. Plus, I drove out to Texas where he was to see it before I decided to pay him anything. Mine has been running strong for about 22,000 miles now, and still ticking.

I am driving 700 miles to get mine. It will be a good 11 hour trip each way. I thought about flying. I agreed with the guy that we would go up and buy it after i saw it to make sure it was in one piece. If I got up from flying and decided that it wasn't worth the price or something I would have fun getting back to the airport and flying back. I have seen it in picture but in person is different. That would be really bad, but it would have to be in BAD condition for that to happen.

The only problems I've had was fixed by a recall around $400 in free parts

Oh yes... Maxima's are definately made in Mexico... that's why all of them up until the 2003's... they're produced at the Nissan factory in Oppama, Japan... the 2004+'s are produced in Smyrna, TN here in the US... Want pictures of this???
