Info on engine rebuild

I could use some help if anyone has any information on this. I am interested in making the engine a stronger point on the car, and rebuilding one. Does anyone have any info on pistons, heads etc. available for the car, or what manufacturer might be able to help out in this. I know the maxima pace cars have a lot of engine work done, but I'm feeling it was most custom work. Thanks

Justin - try asking Newman...he did all the research at one point for his car before he sold it.

Damn that car looks nice, it won a show and it doesn't look ricey... interesting. Also the power to back it up. Question aren't JWT cams only for NA aplications, I know that you got to use turbo cams for FI otherwise you might end up getting something really bad happening to your valves.

BTW if you guys don't wonna build a motor and just want a rebuild, I think it would be cheaper to just pick up a used motor with low milage priced from $200 to $500. VQ motors are cheap.

yeah I'm trying to rebuild mine before turbo also. I'm going with titanium everything just about. Forged pistons and lowered compression for the boost and etc.... Hopefully more things will come our way so that it won't be so hard and so much of a hassle to get what we want and need.
