Performance part combination

Okay, I am going to be getting some performance parts real soon, and I need some help and advice.

First on my list would be a Warpspeed Y-pipe. I heard it has a little buzzing noise to it, so if I hate fart cans, will I hate this? I heard if you wrap the Y-pipe in header wrap, it will get rid of the buzz, but what part of the Y-pipe would I wrap up? I've heard of wrapping the split in the pipe, and or the whole pipe. Will my gas mileage increase/decrease for any reason?

Second mod on my list would be between a Cattman CAI/Warpspeed CAI, or a JWT Popcharger. Can someone explain the difference in HP gains? Will my gas mileage change? Which combination would be best to go with a Warpspeed Y-pipe? CAI fits in the wheel well when you drill a hole, and the JWT popcharger(assuming it stays underneath the hood), will the CAI suck water into my engine causing hydro-lock?

If you could provide any other suggestions relating to a CAI/Popcharger, that would be appreciated. I am leaning towards a CAI, but I need some advice and experience first, and that would be great if you guys tell me.

As far as a price range, $150-215 for any type of item I listed above.

~Thanks for your advice

you would be wrappign the steel braided flex section with the wrap to help stop leaks if it does leak.

I never had a problem with my old CAI sucking up water. What I have noticed is that my CAI seems to require me to step on the gas more to pick up speed on the highway when my Popcharger(stillen actually) is more "top end happy"

My advice is to get the CAI because once you have a CAI, you can convert it to a pop charger style intake just by removing the lower piping of the CAI. In other words, you get the choice of 2 intakes anytime you want if you buy a CAI

Which CAI should I get? Do you recommend any CAI's? I'm thinking about the Cattman one, but are there any other's that you would recommend?
