Hi Guys,

without search this is starting to suck, 15 pages so far and nothing... anyone have any idea what to look for when your ECU gives you that code, 02/01 - ignition signal circuit. It also gave me the good old KS code, this was the first time the CEL came on and i reset it yesterday and it hasnt come back on yet. I have a 99 GLE with about 74k on it.

I had it and it was a PITA.

Usually that means you have a coil pack going. If your lucky you'll get a cylinder misfire code along with it to identify which coil pack is not right.

Clear the 02/01 error and drive until you get the cylinder # misfire along with that error. It might take some time, be patient.
