whats up guys.
i just got my tranny rebuilt, just wondering.
when i wiggle my stick right to left, it should go to the middle automatically right?
well....when i wiggle to the right, it does, but when i wiggle it to the left, it just stays there.
is there somekind of tension spring that i have to replace? does anyone know?

 

yes there is a little spring that connects the shift control rod to the shift linkage?

basically there are 2 black pole looking things that run between the transmission and your shifter..
one is the actual linkage between the shifter and the transmission
the second is bolted to the transmission on one end and the bracket surrounding the pivot point of your shifter. the spring connects the two, hooked through a small hole in both pieces
