Can you put different tips on a straight thru muffler? I know of course you can do it on a big oval muffler, but what about straight thrus?

I ask because 4" is about half an inch to an inch to big for me.

 

You could get a straight through universal muffler that doesn't come with a tip at all and have one welded on.

 

I want to keep my exsisting mufflers...

 

if you have an exhaust shop around your area, just ask them if it'd be possible with the muffler you have. I don't see why it wouldn't though.

 

Why do you think that NO OVAL muffler is straight through? My WS is a HUGE oval **** and it's straight through. Anyway, you can put a tip on ANY muffler. The WS has a ~2.5 outlet that grows into a tip just under 4". BTW, how many resonators are you running with those 2 tiny "fart cans" of yours?

 

yes i am aware that any oval muffler is not a straight thru. i have one 18" resonator.
