what year is compatible with our cars? I know you have to do some fabing, but which one has the same TPS plugs?

I believe it is only 2000-2001 that is compatible. It is the ones that got the 3.5VQ but still have a throttle cable, not that throttle-by-wire junk. Make sure it is off the 3.5 liter engine. I believe mine is a 2001 and I am using the pathfinder TPS, others have put the maxima TPS on the TB. Whatever you do make sure to set up the TPS correctly before you put it in the car. This procedure is listed in the haynes manual, and others I am sure.

Do you have any idleing issues at all?

I want to do this along with an AFC. I think with these two I can get 200+ fwhp along with my current setup.

I think there are some cold idle issues running PF TB. If you live a warm climate where 40+ degrees is normal it's probably no big deal, but if you live somewhere where it's in the teens or single digits, it may be an issue. I'd hate to think that starting the car on a cold day may make your idle stay at 1500-2000rpms till the motor is completely warm. If you have an auto, it could be dangerous.

I have the adapter plates sitting in my garage for the PF TB, just need to find a decent priced use TB. Yes, it's the 2001 3.5 pathfinder.

I know I am going to loose my cold start and coolant lines that go through my stock TB, but I am only going to run the PF TB in the warmer months of the year.

Dave

The funny thing is, I don't have any idle issues at all. My car doesn't stay on the fast idle at all. When it has been in the low teens here, my car acts like it wants to stumble when I first start it, but after that it is fine.
