This past fall I installed new Stillen brake pads and cross drilled rotors. When installing the new rotors my wheel studs didn't line up with the holes very well. They were bent in towards the center. I also had a hard time taking of my OEM rotors. I know the studs are straight because this past summer I put all new wheel stud in the front und of my car from nissan. What could cause this to happen? I don't have factory rims I have 17" x 7.5". They look like the antera 143's but not sure. The center cap says Central????

Perhaps the wheels are to blame

What could cause this to happen? Maybe those aftermarket rims have a slightly smaller bolt circle than the stock wheels. Tightening the lug bolts bent the studs.

Thanks this weekend I'm going to take off my wheels and see if the size is on the inside of the rim. I'm sure it is I never lokked because i didn't know the sizes for the maxima. But i know it's 114.3 for the bolt pattern.
