I bought my dustboots from Cattman, GREAT to deal with! They fit perfect, you just need to ziptie the lower ends of the boot to the top edge of the shock shaft and all is well. The zipties come in the case so you will not have to worry about those. They work great to keep the car from bottoming out and destroying your fresh shocks, and also keeps dust from entering the shaft cavity causing premature failure.

KYB part numbers:

SB108 - Rear
SB103 - Front

You need 2 of each.

I would recommend just going the Cattman route against all the information in that post, in the long run you save from the aggrevation.

Why? They are the same part. Did you not read that? Cheaper, easier to get, and no shipping charges.

Oh well, your loss.

In response to the first post, there really is only one "brand" of strut boot for lowered maximas. The "KYB" part, which as you have read is just another brand that has been repackaged, is the only style out there that requires no cutting or modification. Different brand names, the same part, different prices and stores. No matter what brand you go with, you get the same part. But like it says in the other thread, do NOT get the non-OEM direct-replacement part for the maxima. The bumpstops cannot be trimmed and will cause you problems. The OEM ones can be trimmed, but they are more expensive than the aftermarket ones (103 and 108) and require extra work.

Bouncing or a lack thereof has nothing to do with the strut boots. That is all in the struts themselves.

According to Parts America computer system, they arent the same part. So I just went ahead and purchased them from Cattman.
