Reliability of 98 SE?

Hello to all Max fans. I'm planning to buy a 5 speed 98 SE very shortly. With all the experience that you guys have, can you tell me what should I insist on when inspecting the car before I buy it? What are the weaknesses of this car? If it has been beated, how could I tell? Some sort of checklist would be nice. Mileage of the car should be near the 40K miles. Your help is appreciated!

Dont'worry about it. Maximas are so reliable they are virtually bulletproof. How many 89+ Maximas do you still see on the road?

I have a 98 SE 5spd.
I bought it with 94000KM on it. All is original, clutch, etc. It's awsome, not s problem, just basic things need to be replaced: Filter, oil, etc.
Engine and major components are great, just make sure you are not buying a Lemon.
