Does anyone know if a Climate control unit from a 99 will be a plug and play swap on a 95? The lights on my display are almost all burned out, and I was going to change it to a 99 because it is nicer.

 

Auto climate control or manual? I was reading an old thread yesterday and the newer auto climate controls (98-99 i think) have a lot more wires than the 95-97. Are the LED's out or do the buttons just not light up anymore?

 

The Backlights on my auto climate control are also all burned out (and have been for at least 2 years) I read somewhere on the ORG a post where someone replaced the bulbs in the unit quite easily and inexpensively.
The 98-99 Climate control should NOT work in the 95-97 models.

 

I replaced the bulbs in my 97 auto climate control. The bulbs were a couple bucks each from Courtesy Nissan and the install wasn't that hard either.

 

Well, everything works. But the only buttons that light up stil are the ones on the right, such as the fan speed. The auto and econ buttons definately dont light up.
