Another Intake Question??? Yur Info Pls...

I need to get a good intake. Either Frankencar, Weapon R Dragon,

I'm not sure of the CAI's cause I would want to save money installing it & how would u change or clean the filter?

Or can anyone give me a good place to install a CAI?

Which produces more power:
Frankencar
Weapon R
CAI's

Bronx

Install is simple. Save that money and do it yourself.

any one that takes air from the outside will produce more hp, but will cost more to install than filter that just bolts on the m.a.f. stillen has a good one thats very easy to install. hey what part of the bronx are you from

Different intakes give different gains either low-med-high rpms. In the end if you're a 1/4mi racer you won't see a difference in times with the different intakes.

CAI = Low end power
HAI (cone intake in engine bay) = high end power
Intake Midpipe (Frankencar) = Mid-range power

I would prefer 'Mid-range'... From 3-6k rpm
Low end = Most of your everyday driving
High end = 6-8k rpm
mid-range= 3-6k rpm(Frankencar or Weapon r?)
Any recommendations?

get a short ram intake of ebay and later on put a K&N in there. I had HAI for two days now with some ebay intake and pretty happy with it. Defently get more wheel spin (I'm auto) when starting and it seems to kick in pretty good at 3,500 rpm. I like the sound alot, but the HP gain from intakes is not that good overall.
