Gentlemen,

I have a problem with my 99 Max SE.

I start the car and the RPM's are normal around 800RPM, after driving for a while the RPM's get high. When I stop and put the car into neutral the RPM's surge to 1500 then I put the car in drive and RPM's drop to 1000. If I shut off the car and turn it back on then RPM's return to 800 and after a little while they raise again.

The car jumps at the stop lights and it's driving me NUTS.

What can this be?
