Hey all, about a week ago I put on my generation 2 carbon fiber altezzas. I am not a fan of altezzas as many .orgers arent, but I must say these look really kool and imo they dont look ricey at all.

I am not a fan of altezzas but those look pretty cool.

I would take the pin strips off my car though...makes it look much cleaner.

 

looks nice since you have it black on black and i hate altezzas

if i had to choose. those would be the better ones. but please... get rid of those pinstripes.. reminds me of the 80's...

Didn't they have darker ones. I think they have gunmetal and black. CF doesn't belong on lights.

 

definitely not a fan of altezzas... but those arent toooo bad.... but like everyone else said... ditch the pinstripes... that was the first thing I did to my car, makes it look so much better.. also, have you considered shaving off the nissan emblem on the trunk?

 

these are the only altezzas i would consider ok.

 

The TYC lights are nice too, they look like these but I don't think they are altezzas.

 

they look gun metal like mine.

 

The Gen 2's are the only altezza's that look nice IMO.

 

do these lights stick out?because from the first pic it looks like they do?you know like tyc lights(good example is 98-2002 accord tyc lights) Hope not but i like em

 

Yeah they stick out a little, looks kinda kool tho the way that they stick out.

 

they dont stick out nearly as much as those accord lights. lights look great, you gotta get rid of those orange bulbs though

 

Tell me about it, i cant stand that orenge, wut color can i put back there that is legal and would look good? I dont want anything illegal because cops around my area tent to get bored a lot and bother us about little things, even things like tint.

 

Now I forget what they're called or who all makes them, but there are bulbs that are silver/chrome but are orange when lit up. Those would be ideal for you.

no, red & yellow are legal.

 

If red is illegal then why do some cars come with it stock?

 

Red is legal for the rear. If you look at some new cars, the tails are all red except for the reverse light. The car that comes to mind is the Civic and the Accord coupe



This is why people red out the stock 95/96 tails

 

Silvania now has "silverstar" bulbs that light up amber but look silver when not lit

Got them from custommaxima for a little less than 200. Dono about tha painting part.

 

I like those! They look better than the other Altezzas I've seen on Maxima's in my town. Too bad they don't make them for 95/96's.

 

Damn man, those look freaking sweeeeeeeeet. Im still debating whether i wanna get those. Its just on my color...its debatable. I guess im satisfied with my custom all-reds for now...

Acording to custommaxima.com they are only for 97-99.

 

I usually don't like altezza's but those ahve a nice look on your car.

Sorry man. Still not a fan. Nothing against your car, if you like it, go for it. But you did ask for opinions. In your case, it appears I'm outnumbered. I've never cared for altezzas, just not my style. I'm glad you like em though.
