50 bux? Hmmm. I just like the cooling advantages. But I might look into adding a piece of sheet metal in that case too. Course I don't like cutting it either. I may be giving you a call. We'll see.

That's interesting. How hard is it to install? And modifying to make it fit? Is it jsut for people who have cf hood?

These shrouds cover the large gap between the grill and radiator support frame. They look great and also prevent air from going around the top of the radiator and AC condenser, increasing cooling efficiency.
People with CF hoods may notice less shaking because this blocks a lot of the air that would spill under the center of the hood.

Let me know what you guys think. They'll be available in a couple days, and for only $49 shipped.

I'll be down for one. Are you ever going to make the fuse covers again?????

Supras, 350Z's, and a lot of high hp cars do have these things. But, on those, the plate goes up almost to the radiator so I could see it working. On this CF one, there's still gaps between the radiator support and the plate.

he said increased cooling efficiency, so there isn't any need to scrutinize the exact details on how much cooling the air gets, etc. Its setup in the pathway to block excessive air from going over and into the engine bay, concentrating more of it into the radiator.

the modification is plain obvious at what its made for to do and at a good price. Asking why CF instead of sheet metal is like asking why rubbermaid containers instead of ralphs containers: its a choice.
