Stereo removal

I need help. I have all the bottom screws out but I can't removal the trim. Does anybody have written directs with pictures.

any help will be greatly appreciated

I don't have pictures, but you need to remove the air conditioning vents above the deck and remove the 2 screws up there also. . . I typically just lift up on them until they clear the notches and then pull them down and out. . . Hope this helps.

The Doctor provides detailed instructions and plenty of good photographs.

Hey man, All you have to do is take a smaller flat head screw driver. Place it down either side of the top vents and pry them away from the top controls(hazards,defrost,clock). It might seem like you are going to break somthing, but your not. Once the vents are removed, simply take the top two screws out and you are done. I hope that helps!

thanks guys the, the ashtray was the problem. It took a little elbow grease to slide to the left.

Helpful info as I will be installing a new Blaupunkt this weekend... Now if I could only get 6x9s to fit in the rear deck....
