Tune Up Tips?

When I bought my Maxima, the mechanic said that it would need a tune up soon, but it was not a critical issue. What does a good tune-up on the Max entail? I am getting 15-18 mpg, around 300 miles to a tank. I want to try to improve this as much as possible. I just cleaned out the throttle body, I am planning on replacing the fuel filter, as well as the spark plugs, but I am not sure what other items would help my mileage. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

change tranny oil, engine oil, i duno if u want to but you could buy that tornado thing for the air filter. They say it improves gas mileage up to 34% but i;m not sure because i dont know any one wit it. If your o2 sensors are bad you will also loose da mileage.

Air and fuel filter
Plugs
PCV valve
Keep the tire pressure even (I keep mine at 32 all around)
O2 sensors (if you're near 100k miles)

The How To's are stickied at the top of the forum
