I converted some analog track footage of me and the max at Thunderhill. Its pretty awesome- I guarantee anyone of you would enjoy seeing it.

Can anyone host it for me? How would we go about it? Do I need to send you like a 25 meg file or two?

I might run into probs because MY email might not want to send it either... Its taking a looong time to try to attach it too..

 

I doubt anywhere is going to let you Email a 25MB file. You'll need to FTP it or send it over AIM.

Thats like my 4th or 5th HPDE at thunderhill. I definately had to work my way up to that kinda heat. Which brings up a point- Do NOT drive like this your first time at a track! Keep it shiny side up!

 

That was an awesome run, makes me want to get a stick max 10x more now!

for the dank skills, although that one turn where you passed up that pinto was really sharp, was that just to impress the camera?

No..its got the 300ZX engine after all- and lighter chassis!!!

Its done alot of it (like 8 HPDE events) + 2 seasons of AutoCross and hasnt even complained at all. Well, the clutch went kablooey but it had 80K on it... Plus I take very good care of it re:regular maintenance.

 

Id been stuck behind that race prepped GTI / Rabbit for 2 laps... That was a good place to pass...

FYI, the VQ30DE engine in your Maxima is not related to any engine ever offered in a 300ZX.


Also, that video rocks! That looks like so much fun. You shoudl re-title it "Festival of Understeer"
