changing from fabric to leather

has anyone ever changed the fabric style car seats into leather ..
if so, where did u go and for about how much $$$?

I think most people on this board who have switched to leather did it on their own. After paying 500-600 dollars for the leather, you probably don't want to spend another 500 dollars getting the seats done at a shop,
