Custom red/clear tails

Is it possible to make your own red/clear tails? I think i remember someone saying that they took apart their stock tails and took out the orange part!?! i dont know if this is true, so im just double checking. If so, how do you do it? thanks

hardest part is cutting out the clear plastic, it chips like crazy.... i think mine came out pretty good....i should do the inside's too so it matches nicely....

The sticky reads...red/clears for 97-99, but not for 95-96 i think. Can you do it on 95-96?

no u can't do it on 95-96 and toughness took me an hour to do or so it is kinda hard to cut out but i found a way to make it a little easier. i took the plastic cover from the lights put it on the table drew the lines for the piece i had to cut than used heat gun to heat it up a little make it softer but pressing it down because if u won't press it down it will make a buble and mess it up... so after u heat it up a little take good seasors and cut than heat up uncut parts and cut and so on till u finish cutting.. also i used heat gun to take the tail light apart instead of waiting half hour in the oven.. but with heat gun it's harder to do cause i messed up the light a little... one of them
