Anyone have the Apexi ws exhaust system. I cant decide between the hks muffler and the apexi. I'm looking for a sporty look, a nice tone, not very loud.

Sorry to say this, but use the search feature.

A few people have it and I think everyone was happy. They said that it wasn't loud.

The search feature apparently doesn't work on any of the posts from the "old" version prior to the system upgrade... at least for now...

I've had the WS in for about 4 days now... I have no other exhaust mods or intake mods...

It is LOUD between 2000-2500 and sounds like stock the rest of the time. I love it... I can make it sound cool around mustangs and then have it silent on the highway at 65...

what sucks: I had to remove the passenger tow hook because it was hitting... and the 02 sensor had no hole so I tied it off... no christmas tree no the dash so far...

if there's no hole for the 02 sensor then where does it go? Do most people take this to a shop and get a hole custom cut? Thinkin bout gettin this exhaust but not sure it's worth the trouble.

The guy who installed mine said that because its a whole new exhaust system, even if he put a hole in, the O2 sensor would set off the check engine light anyway... mine is just tied off. No check engine light and its been 5 days.

I got a hole drilled on my exhaust and my check engine light came on. i went out and bought a OBD2 scan tool and hooked it up to my car but nothing came up wrong. so i erased the light. a couple of start ups later the light came back on. so do you think i should have the hole i got drilled covered back up and tie off my sensor like yours? that light really annoys meand it wont go away. what else did your mechanic guy say about the O2 sensor? thanks

He told me that the thought that only the 97-99 had the second O2 sensor and therefore they didn't drill a hole because it is easier to drill one than it is to cover one up (I don't think you can).
