so today i was bored, so i decided to debadge all my emblems on the trunk. i want to do a good job so i spent a good 45 minutes with some music and accomplished. i used hair dryer, wd40, turtle wax, dental floss, spunge, car wash stuff...and repeat washing over and over and over again. now my rear end looks cleaner, or i should say... cleaner rice

a close up shot. those emblems were on my car for 10 years. it did take me a lot of time to make it look nice and clean without scraping my paint off my trunk.

[need help with future plan]
my front-end still has a dent. i am in the process saving up to get the exterior bodywork done. i know most people suggest 97-99 front end convertion. but i really wanna stay with 95-96 with GXE bumper, with grill-tech race grill both top and bottom (like gtr_rider's) with shaved front badge.

if i go for 97-99 front-end convertion, i will pick up a stillen lip and it'll just look like everyone else's maxima. but i am still in the debate. help me decide...

 

nice .. thats the first ting i did when i got my car. O by the way i have the grill done but when they sell the two bottom grill pieces, is it a direct fit, cause im tryng to do it with this mesh, and its not working

we'll it seems like you already decided, i however, like the 97 front end more becuase it not as round. i do like the 95-96 rear bumper more though, but i like the 97- tailights/trunk. but i cant have what i want all the time...

yea no kidding. i rather spend $350 on kyb gr2s + maxspeed over just a set of red/clear tailight. my $41 altezza have done a good gettin rid of the ugly stock amber tails for the last 2 years...

I just did the 97-99 front end conversion (Pics tomorrow) and it looks bad a$$, much better than the 95-96 bumper. Can't wait until I find a rear bumper, trunk lid and whatnot so that I can do the rear

Lookin good man! I did the same to my trunk a while ago, it cleans up the back IMO. I personally like the altezzas, not to be ricey or anything but I like the way they look. Here's how my booty looks kinda goes with the A.E. headlights up front:

Nice. I wish I could have made mine look that nice. I debadged the Nissan symbol and you can still slightly see where it used to be. The paint where the emblem used to be is a little darker than the rest of it. What did you use to take off the glue?

nope... hes definately not neptune blue. I can't see a resemblance... sorry Plus, they didnt make neptune blue for any other year besides 97.

his looks blue to me. mine looks darker than his. most of my picture looks darker than neptune blue. even in real life it doesn't look close to neptune blue. during the day time it doesn't look superblack, but definetly black enough to be black. at night it just look plain black.

69amixam to answer your question. do you replace gay stock tail lights and install gayer altezza? no. you either do it right or you dont do it at all. stock tails are much better than bs altezza's.

nice clearn shave happyricefob! when i changed mine over from gold, i scratched under the maxima a little bit so don't want to leave it shaved because of the scratches.
