Problem changing Rear Brake!

HI!

I have some problem changing my rear brake, It must be the same way that changing the Front!? (changed the front already and didnt have any problem!)

When I tried to push back the rear caliper piston it didnt go back enought to put the new set of pad brake!!! (must put back my old set of pad (crap!)

Do you think that my piston may be cocked sideways or partly seized, or anything else??

Thanck all!

the rubber boot around the piston may be turning with the piston as you are trying to turn it in causing it to bind. If the boot is stuck from trying to turn the piston in you will have to get the piston out by depressing the brake pedal, but careful not to get the piston too far out, using your old brake pad and putting it back together and using your brakes might be the best way to avoid it coming too far out. Lube between the boot and the piston to make sure it doesn't stick and then try again.

Tank's I didnt know that I have to turn the piston, because the galiper of my my last maxima (1991) was not like this, I had only to push it in!

I got the "spécial tools" form Canadien Tire (12$ Can) and did the job!

Merci!

P.S. Sorry for my "bad" english... I'm better in French!
