I know i saw this thread some time ago but i can't seem to find it again. Anyways . . . . when i punch the gas from stand still my transmission makes this whining noise as it shifts through gears. It stops once i reach normal speed. Shifting is vibration free . . . . upshift and downshift, just that it whines. Anyone have an idea of what it might be? I should have cleared it before, it is an auto tranny.
