I have a 97 max se with a place racing cai,i was thinking about buying a 3" resonated test pipe next.Is it worth it? I heard test pipes can stain your bumper yellow,true?...It's 75$ at sx7r.com,worth the money or does it not even boost you up any power?

 

it adds a couple of HP at certain high speeds i guess, if u look around u can get one for under $50

 

only get it if you're boosted....otherwise no gain will be noticed or seen really. 1 hp is not worth $75....just my two cents.

You only need 2.5" at the most..unless you are boosted and the rest of your exhaust is 3"
