Like the subject says i installed my y-pipe and now my check engine light is on. Do i need to reset my ecu? I forgot to disconnect the battery when i did the install. I guess i was just excited to start the install. If i do need to reset the ecu how do i do this? Thanks

its by your gas pedal. to the right of your pedal's a black plastic piece held in w. 2 plastic pieces. pull the top of the plastic piece by the screw's and the piece comes off. then poke through the tape on the metal piece to get to the screw. turn w. a screw driver gently! 2 turns clockwise. wait 2 seconds. turn back till it stops you...but don't over turn it. then wait a few seconds and do the clockwise, 2 sec. pause, then counterclockwise again. that'll reset it. then put back on the plastic piece...P.S. YOU DO THIS W/ KEY IN ON POSITION, BUT ENGINE OFF
