Question about intake install

i just got done installing my bomz cai and was wondering what goes in the small hole that is between the two small pipes that you hook the hoses up to

If its a rubber lined hole, its for the air temp sensor.

yea it is the rubber lined hole where can i find the air-temp gauge

u mean the sensor......i installed my cai like 7 moths ago and i just bearly found that sensor just chillin on top of my tranny....i can't believe that i didn't see it all these times i was working on my car...

air temp

does anyone have a pic i have searched my engine bay and can not find it also could that be why my service engine soon light is on

yes that is why it on.......do you have you stock downpipe in? the pipe that goes next to the radiator. it is on the bottom side of that close to where the stock air box was.

I bet you unplugged the sensor and left it in the stock intake. You 97 should have the sensor in the "Ram Air" scoop of the stock intake. Its in the bend just before the air box, just remove it, plug it in, and push it into the hole. Then reset you ECU if need be.

ya i did that, but before when the car ran with out that sensor there as no CEL....i wounder y, cause the sensor was just sitin on top of my tranny.

it should be right near the shock wall, just trace the wire from the maf sensor should be around there
