update on sick tranny.
I have post on the ORG a couple times about my sick tranny. Here is the deal. It started making alot of noise at lower speeds, I knew right away what it was, the only thin I have not already fixed. The input shaft bearings. Well in a mad dash to get this fixed before the upcomeing meet I pulled tranny last night in a record 2 hours flat, and got it to the transmision shop. They should have it done by tomorrow afternoon and if the wind blows the right way and the planets align just so, I will be installing it Saturday, and be running in full force on Sunday. Everyone keep their fingers crossed for me.

Luckily I am fortunate enough to have a friend that owns a performance shop. He lets me use his lift so I went over there yesterday afternoon and yanked that **** out. The real ****er about taking our trannies out is that there is one solitary bolt that requires you take the engine crossmember off. So I removed the crossmember and removed that bolt then reinstalled the crossmember, that way I did not have to ever jack up the engine. It just makes me mad that with just a touch more engeneering our trannies could be removed without touching the crossmember. Looks like all that would have been need is just a notch in the rear motor mount.
