---Are there BIRDS in my engine???---Sound Clip Included

ok so i was out getting some dinner just now and i had my window down. I noticed the weirdest sound coming from my car. Every time i rev the engine or accelerate and then let off, i hear a 'TWEEEET' sound. im not smokin here im serious. it sounds so much like a bird. Its only when i rev the engine then let off. Anyone ever hear of such a thing? I havent noticed this until tonight. Here's a sound clip. Listen right after the engine stops revving. if you listen VERY closely you can hear the little chirp sound.

now i know there arent any birds living in my car. i cant tell where EXACTLY the tweet is coming from. almost sounds like its under my car somewhere. please give me any input on what it could be. i appreciate it. THANKS

-Todd

hahahah that sounded so funny, like the bird was replying to the revving engine. I think sadice's advice sounds the best. Try it.

Check and see if there are any loose bolts/screws hanging down off of the spoiler. There's an extra plastic guard down there that hangs on by a few clips w/ screws. The plastic broke through on one of them on my car. It hung down, and made a little noise when I take off.
hope that make sense

haha glad i could give you a laugh! thanks for the input. i still have stock intake. so it cant be that. it sounds like its coming from more of the rear/bottom arear. i will try checking the spoiler, belts etc. ill update tomarrow if i find the problem if that doesnt fix it, i guess i will have a new little bird friend every time i rev my engine. lol.

I suggest that you check the belts, they sometimes make wierd sounds especially if the get water and/or mud on them, if so this sound should stay for a while and goes by itself.
If this was not the reason then I wuld take my car to a mechanic, 'cause I would be worrying about some major problem!!!!!!!!!

99% its belts or even a bum accessory. My old Camry (88 baby!) had a simular chirp to it, and it turned out it was the AC compressor (or the alternator, it was a while ago).

thanks for all the input. looks like i'll have to try a few things to find the source of the tweet.

if it is just a belt making the noise, theres no harm done by that right?!?
